The NST-Stations communicate with standard industrial interfaces. They can convert digital and analog inputs and outputs into commands. These allow the interaction with third-party equipment which is used for process steps before or after the NST-Station.

As an example, successful integration has been realized with Pick-and-Place equiment via SMEMA interface for printed circuit boards which arrive at the NST-Laser Soldering Station on belts. Light barriers and other sensors are used to monitor the actual state of the loading and unloading sluices.

The integration comprises the communication with the production database. Standard commands can be used or nanosystec offers also customized implementation if required.
